There are in fact many fishing shows on the tube these days, many are quite similar going to the same spots, fishing for the same fish, week end, week out. The "Fishing the Flats" TV Series is different. It has consistently been the top ranked show in the outdoor block of various networks, and there are many reasons for that. The education, the entertainment value, awesome destinations and hot spots, a variety of fish species, great fish recipes and so much more.. This series focuses on only strong fighting shallow water fish in the warm waters of the Gulf of Mexico and Caribbean. Locations to include Florida, Belize, Bahamas, Mexico and the Cayman Islands.

Master Angler Henry Waszczuk explores shallow water fishing for some of the most dynamic saltwater fish that can be caught on rod and reel. Just sit back and watch high jumping tarpon that weight over 100 pounds, bonefish that scream every bit of line on the reel, head-shaking snook, bull headed redfish that just won't give up, barracuda, and huge shark that will test any anglers skill. Then there are the smaller yet powerful jacks, snapper, triggerfish and more!

Fishing techniques will vary from fly-fishing to conventional gear, all on light tackle for the most exciting fights one can experience. This series will also be a graphically enhanced TV series in a magazine format covering various topics in the outdoors including unbelievable saltwater fishing, places to stay, weekly fishing tips, fish recipes and underwater fish features and so much more!
